Lessons learned 2014

    I have learned that planting 3 courgette plants is far far too much. I could have used the space for something else, but I didn't have the heart to pull any of them out.
    Also that I used my garden bin way too much, when most of it could have been composted instead. I will definitely build a few more small compost boxes for 2015

    Since 2014 was my real first year, I kept to simple things so I am going to experiment a little more next year and I am sure I will learn a lot more.

      as of yesterday I learnt that when you pull up and throw what appear to be poor producing veg plants into the compost bin, its a good idea to chop them up first ... I pulled out about a kilo of decent spuds from my compost bin yesterday!!!
