      The great thing about gardening is there's always something to learn even for the more experienced amongst us :dbgrtmb:

      Back to the quote above, you'll probably find that even when fully rotted down tomato seedlings will keep popping up where ever you use the compost (if of course tomatoes have been thrown in the compost heap at some point :biggrin:) . I had loads popping up all over the place last year; where I'd used compost out of my bins that was well over 1 year old, even this year there's still some popping up, I found one yesterday that had sneaked up amongst my runner beans that's about 3ft tall :rolleyespink::snork:
