Lighting during power cuts.

    We have some plug-in power-fail torches along our upstairs corridor. They glow a blue light (to show they are working / where they are) but if you pull them off their mounting they then come on, so in a powercut (or, god forbid, a fire) just find the blue glow, grab one, and you have enough light to see your way downstairs without breaking your neck!
