Don't look a lot but got 5 bags of cr@p.. Took up load of couch grass and brambles at the back, found shoddy slabs. Dug up most of the strawberry patch, lot of stones dumped on what I didn't dig so need to get them up. Strawbs were woodier than wood.

Dug up a bit by the shed..(loads of stingy roots) leveled it off then roped the other half into putting weed membrane down (which he didn't cut or peg down...), put the slabs down (which crumbled  ) and do one edge, needs staking and nailing in. And need to find some tidy slabs.

Also met another bloke from the other side of the plots and he gave me some garlic so chucked them in the box

Good day's work there, Linz
Just wondering about all those stones ... could the previous occupant have put them in to help with the clay soil? :dunno:

Nah they're grey stones that have been put down on the road up between plots, think they fell off when the dung was tipped the other week. I honestly don't think anyone's dug it over properly either, it only goes down about 8 inches and then you hit the proper clay pan.. ho hum, enough to plant in I suppose!

No particular order. Moved water tank down yesterday, made a tool rack in the shed, bagged up crxp, started digging one of the long beds, edges, pegged down membrane..

Today: tip run, cleared top bit of stones, father dug the rest of stawberry bed, could see why I kind of give up on it (soil is soo heavy there), lil bit more digging, made a trench for chicken poo but decided against it as it's only 3/4 months old, didn't do guttering noticed it split..was given more but it's too short. Met another plot holder who's right at the top, nice bloke. Few pics.
