More work done this afternoon.

 

Made a threshold today for the patio door, I couldn't continue with the skirting until this was done, I will varnish this part for water protection after installation its not yet fixed.

 

@martin-f Your doing wonders with your room mate and another nice addition, shame you couldn't get the skirting totally finished

Hi Gail hope all is well. ive just got two pictures to frame and a mirror and some wood to put round the fire hearth, ive been busy with other things but going to get a few jobs ticked off today when i can motivate myself.

 

@martin-f I am pleased mate your rooms nearly done and the same here concerning motivation i'm doing ok mate thanks ...is your car still going well?

 

I see you're well on with the construction of your cable "snake pit."

I've one of those behind my TV, Humax, and DVD/CD, VHS recorders, plus an auto selector box. No end of cables to hide.

 

I have more than most due to me hobby there's eight coax cables here alone, at least they are now routed behind the walls, ive bought this unit cables will be routed inside it, i will be putting a false back in it to hide them.

@martin-f We've got our wires in one of these cables mate and it does make the place tidy.

 

No need to cross your fingers mate as they're good motor's

 

That seems a very good plan.

The stuff I've got has grown over time, fortunately the cables are hidden by the curtains. But I did have to make a little table out of a scrap piece of round-nosed hardwood skirting board, to sit the TV on so the sound bar could go below it.
