    Did you make a hole in the cling film to let the tray breathe? A propagator lid doesn't fit tight so will allow a certain amount of air in. Personally I wouldn't cover them at all.

      You could also try a light misting of Camomile tea after sowing:dbgrtmb:

        I whipped the covers off yesterday, and all evidence of the furry stuff has gone :blue thumb:

        The only problem now is what in the name of the wee man am I going to do with roughly 1000 Livingstone daisies?!?!?!? I expected a poor-ish germination rate after the first batch failed, and now have two packets worth (1300 seeds each) that have given rise to two trays of seedlings that are like mini-forests. :biggrin:

        Methinks the neighbours will be getting a few plants this year.
