At least it's alive Lol, the tail will regenerate as you know but like the lizard in your earlier pic it will still be a shorter one.
It is definitely a Moorish Gecko, wide toe pads but hardly any claws.

Hi, Sis, just love your lizard and gecko, especially the gecko, a pretty little fella.

If you don't mind, I'll put my holiday ones in with your house ones. These were all in the kids garden in Florida so guess you could call them house lizards, too.

Strongy, perhaps you would be good enough to ID them if the pics are clear enough - thanks!

I can't give a positive ID Kedi but I am sure they are all Anoles except 11 &12 which are obviously a sloughing Gecko. There are many non native Anoles and Lizards in Florida , probably more than native The commonest lizard around there is the Eastern Fence lizard but unless close up they can be mistaken for each other untill the male extends it's throat fan.

Thanks, Strongy. The one that is changing his coat is the weeny one that I had up in the slideshow. So at least we know now that he is a gecko.

There did seem to be no end of different ones there, and all of these were in the kids garden, so out and around there must be countless different ones.

The patterns of some of them were lovely and I even saw a couple with a ridge along the neck and back. I wondered if that was there all the time or if it could be raised as a warning like some of them did with their throat?

    Wonderful and very interesting creatures.
