LoL's Portuguese Christmas

It looks lovely LOL.The garland above the fire is as sweet as a nut.I like the keys on the wall.Are they brass?

 

Thanks, elaine, garlands are our "thing", very tranditional.

The keys are a story ... bet you wished you hadn't asked! In 1976 t'other half opened a business in Alabama called The Kiosk and it was a key-cutting / locksmith business. As an opening pressie I bought him the "keys" to display on the premises (do have a photo of that somewhere). To this day we still have the keys. No, they are not brass but plastic.

 

I`m glad i asked.I love stories,gives me some insight into peoples lives.(Although some folk would call it nosey.)Just goes to show though,the key to success is working together.

T'other half was going to take some better night pictures but hasn't got around to it :rolleyes: and I don't know how to do the delayed-action or whatever it's called

Very festive LoL, I knew you couldn't put pics up (even at night) without getting the Jacaranda in. :rolleyes:
One day we will be able to grow them here and I won't be soooo jealous. :D
