Thank you all so much! This forums looks really great, but I must not get distracted from my studies, much more fun in here for sure

Where I live ( SW Essex) we have had really nice weather recently, almost every day I want to spend the whole day in the garden, rather than stuck behind computer working :help: and studying.

I know that feeling - I am looking out of the office window at the sunshine now planning my gardening tasks for this evening! :D

Hee hee, I spent this morning out in the garden! First time in 6 months,(I've not been well) and it felt great!
The list of jobs has got even bigger, as I've been out purchasing plants this afternoon, to replace all those ones I wanted to take out this am!

Done your survey mate. Good luck with your studies.

My pet hates are slugs, snails and stinging nettles. Slugs and snails seem to love my garden and do so much damage. Horrible things they are.

My left hand was rebuilt at Stoke Mandeville after I got blown up in a Top Fuel Dragster. Had loads of burns all over me. Ever since then I have found that certain things that never used to bother me, now play havoc with the skin grafts and scars. Stinging nettles bring me out in a horrible painful rash thatt I have to take tablets to get rid of.

    Chopper.

Thank you Chopper ( and everyone else)
That sounds really painful, I wonder if there are some natural remedies that would soothe the scars- I think calendula, lavender and hemp oil could work well, also virgin coconut oil with some herbs.. aloe vera...I keep planning to learn about plant remedies, once I finally settle somewhere.

Slugs and snails seem to be on everyone's list...deservingly.
