Its not rained here all day apart from a bit of drizzle for half hour this after.

:( Weather forecast said it should be much better today but it's still blowing a gale with frequent heavy showers - and I was hoping to get out in the garden today!

Never mind, only one more May day and then it's BLAZING JUNE !!!!

I think I would not mind rain throughout the whole of June as long as the creepy groundfrosts in my area stopped! Every other morning I stare out the bedroom window in disbelief - not again! Although I think last night was not quite freezing, just a lot of dew that looked like ice on neighbours greenhouse again, for when I came out into the garden the thermometer said +3... normally I have a seed tray half full with water standing there and that usually freezes over when there's ground frost but no ice on it this morning -

C'mon over to my place and we'll look for it together. Reminds me of the old folktale:

Farmer with a rough field of thistles and docks told the locals that he had seen the rainbow's end in his field. He said that they were all welcome to dig up the pot of gold and that the finder could keep it. So they came with their spades and dug up the whole field. They found nothing, but the farmer got his field weeded and dug for free!

Flamming June? There's usually enough rain to put the flames out, but we can always hope there isn't! :D
