Thanks Stephen. I was thinking along those lines as well. With the exception of the climbers, which are very young and a frost may kill them, so I have left them out but if the temperature drops they'll be brought back in.

Just need to get some ericaceous compost - was going to go yesterday but decided to do more prep in the garden.

I removed the remains of a dead Acer which I've had for best part of 20 years from a huge planter it was in - no mean feat - and removed three lavenders from planters as they were well past their best.

I've done the boring stuff, now comes the enjoyable stuff :sunny:

      Hi Kels.

Do you mean my front garden?

If so the only two decent sized shrubs I've got in there currently are Rhododendrons.

Lots of smaller dwarf Rhodos and young Camellias but the two Rhodos are the biggest thing I've got out there.

Hi yesit was on the front there was a drive way and something in the middle these shrubs were at the back.the was a large bush in the centre. Maybe this was your previous garden.I followed the picture from the main page under random pics and there was about 8 pics or so of the garden.

The only album I've got loaded is here. Unless it's another photo which I've posted in a thread or something?

I have got loads of stuff on my driveway which runs the length of the house. Was it something like this?

If it's the one above then right at the back is a contorted Hazel which I have allowed to grow out as it gives me some screening from the garden behind.

In front of that is a Camellia (pink flowers).

In front of that is a Rhododendron rothschildii and the one in bloom at the front is an Azalea.

          Hope this helps :)

          Hi Kels

I don't have any large shrubs in my front garden and there are only 15 pics in my album, none of which were taken in the front garden, sorry :dunno:
