My potatoes have so much green on top that its tipping over due to the weight. There are no signs of flowers, although I did think it looked like they were about to then the wind came and destroyed the greenery. It has recovered with a vengeance and anything I've felt while having a rummage has been tiny.

Im in scotland where its been the wettest May on history, with June catching up, so its not lack of water!

No signs of flowers on my first earlies now.

Am hoping my later planted maincrop will do better.

SusieQ; it depends on what type of potato you are growing. Early potatoes wait until it was stopped flowering then dig one plant up to see. If they are maincrop then wait till the leaves trun brown, then cut off the foliage and wait 10 days before lifting.

PS: Take off CAPS Lock, otherwise it looks like you are shouting

Moopants, sounds like you need a week or two of decent weather.
