Made a Start on Arbor

    Off up the reclaimed yard later Today to get a Few last bits
    If Hes Got Any Left I Want Some of them Big Granet Stones I Used In my Folly to Make a Lintel out of!! for above the fire place and over the top of the Cast iron window i am going to fit Ive made a frame to hold the window and mounted it in some Tanalysed Timber and to Look For Some thing to Make some Benches out of just have to see wot catches my eye ;)

      Ile Start Again in a Few Weeks I Couldnt Bear to Look at :doh:

      Done my head in I Am going to re/lay the footing re dress every brick and Try and learn from my mistake Watch This Space I Intend to Get Ziggys Fire Place in there Propley IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO!!! I Want to be Abull to Sit in there with Vistors and Have a Fire and Enjoy it Not every time i look at it THINK OH NO

      I HATE IT The Bad Weather is up on us Now So No Dout a Spring Project Now but have got some more Nice Bits to Add to it granit stone window sills and a granit stone lintel 2 of whitch i cut ready with a still saw harder then mike tysons head :heehee:

        Well, if you got everything right first time, Nick, you'd get bored stiff. Take a step back and think about something else until you're ready to have another go. As you say it's become a Spring job so it'll give you some time to rethink it all. We'll be watching that space,:heehee: believe me!!

            I have no doubt that when you get it done it will be spectacular! There's nothing wrong with starting over if you aren't happy with it. I can't wait to see it when you get it just right!!

                Ah well, we all make mistakes, I know I have! The important thing is to learn from them. I think that if you were unhappy with it, you've done the right thing. It would have been easy to just try to ignore it, but it would have ended up as a waste of space. You are now much better prepared to make something that you'll be proud of;)

                    looking forward to getting a day in here and a day in there theres a lot of work going in to this one more then the folly id say im going to in corprate a chimney breast the All inportant Ziggy Fire Place a Floor and a Roof Im Hopeing to Get the Shell up by Christmas then spring project for the roof n floor also going to in corparete a cast iron window and the 2 gothic wooden windows i got out the oak Door ;)

                      Went shopping yesterday and bought some new tools a new Trowel a Marshall Town top notch USA Job I bought some line spirit levels never new they did them 5 pack only £3 I bought a new line and corner block set Hi Viz in orange a new set of line pins another spirit level and a cold chizzel & a new Tape measure NO EXCUSESE THIS TIME!!! More Planning :dbgrtmb: As many of you know my misses Has been Golden to me over my ill ness and in Genrall I want to get this right and make it a bit speacil for her a nice place to relax and enjoy wish me look the big Dig starts this week for the footing last time I was building single skin this time I'm attempting Double Skin as I did with the folly I'm also going to incorporate some seats of some form behind the folly and have decided to land skape it Makeing it Manetanance free behind the folly because it's a slope and a night mair to cut the Grass keep hauling the mower thru the stone Arch so have decided to Ditch the Grass and get some pots and am going to fit another pool behind there some of you will REMBER I bought 2 pools earlier in the year off some one selling there house for the bargin price of £19.98p the 2 I'm GIVEING my mate one of them and going to use the other I have made a Promiss tonight I will get on with the bath room when I've finished the garden lol & as a man of my word I will do EXATLEY That!! Knock a wall down and a refit with steam room :spinning: Looking forward to my few projects next year I'm in the middle of a few Now I've just bought a compleet inteerear for my Splitty in blue and white leather being deliverd Tommrow @ 5pm out of a 1958 model nice bench seat for the front and a bed settee for the rear to match that's my birthday Treet to my self lol

                          If i'd known earlier i could have borrowed that corset...i'm going out tonight and it appears i've grown out of my dress a bit...that would have trussed me up nicely;)

                              just bought a old fashiond Fire Dog Grate Basket to go in Ziggys Fire Place ;) I Dont Know how to post Links but its wrought iron and when there is not a fire burning in it its got 2 candle harbours built in either end of it looks well CooL :cool:
                              off you guessed it eBay :lunapic 130165696578242 5: 82 mile round trip Oh Well I brake up Tuesday Morning and being as i only work 3 nights but still 37.5 hours a week that means ive got almost got 2 weeks to my self :dancy: so something to do one of the days & Will Crack On got some one to help me Dig out the Footing So Hopeing to Get that Layd Next Wik and Make a Start AGAIN :doh:
