    Really lovely shots, Strongy :gnthb:

Wonderful island. We've been to the island at different times of the year and there is always something in flower. Nearly all of their flowers and trees were brought in by sailors centuries ago. Even when I was calling there regularly nearly 50 years ago we used to bring new plants from other parts of the world. I don't think it is allowed nowadays :old:

Shiney, even now I think they are regreting some introductions which are invading the island e.g Hedychiums and Acacia Longofolia.
This time of year it is blue and white, Agapanthus and Hydrangeas.
I bought and brought two potted Frangipanis back with me plus some various seeds.:)

Frangipani is one of Mrs Shiney's favourites but it needs heated conditions - which you are lucky enough to have :thmb:

The two I brought home and just repotted today (as they were rooted in cut off water bottles) are in the utility room here, not at work, not risking RSM!:D
One has a flower bud so i'll take a pick if they open.
Here are some more (what more?):snz: flowers.

    An unusual coloured Bougie.

    Thunbergia Mysorensis, Mysore Thorn.

    A 'tree' of bromeliads.

    Yucca 'Gigantienormica':D

    Dracaena Terminalis with berries.

    One and a half Cyathea.:)

Wonderful pictures Strongy. Fantastic to have a holiday, and have all those plants thrown in as well.

You could say it was 'a busman's holiday' but that's what I went there for.
I wil have to go again when the wild flowers are in bloom.
