Yes @Sheal. We have various Sycamore "weeds"....that's what farmers around here call them. Their leaves often get black spots but it hasn't affected the resulting leaf mould they are party to. The leaf mould I create is used for planting/transplanting ericaceous needing plants and to replace the soil in my greenhouse that I grow tomatoes etc in. I dig out say a 2ft square area of soil that has had a tomato plant growing in it, put that in an area in my veg plot that is not going to grow potatoes next season and fill the resulting hole with leaf mould and mix. Been doing this for 4 seasons and the tomatoes in my greenhouse have absolutely not complained. I have had no issues using Sycamore leaves in my leaf mould. I never use the mould until it is at least 2 years old, 3 is better. By then with no turning ....hell the piles are way too big to turn:rolleyespink:, the medium is absolutely lovely and to my mind at least, way superior to peat.

@Tetters @Zigs I've come up with a good idea . Put your leaves in Zigs's caravan as it should rot down quickly in there. :snorky: :sofa:

Try and change the subject @Tetters - perhaps to Badgers, I'm sure Zigs won't know anything about those ...
