People who don't appreciate crazy humour are the weird ones Peter. That is why I like GC so much and nearly all the peeps on it. (Note the nearly. I've got a wacky sense of humour but not a cruel one).

Yes Pete, everything I have sown and will be sowing are for and at work.
The Echinacea are for a Parks rockery and are last year's leftover seed and will probably not be planted till late summer.
The Pelargoniums will be ready to plant out at the beginning of June, they will be treated with Chlormequat growth retardant to promote compactness and basal branching.
The Cineraria and Asters are ready for pricking out now. [IMG]

Thanks Strongy - so when will the Pelargoniums be flowering - is that the June target? I have only ever grown them from plugs and never thought of seed. You are presumably treating them as annuals. And does the Chlormequat effect flowering or just shape?

Peter, they will nearly all have have buds by the time they are planted, sometime in June, (depends on the ouside staffing levels). They will be disposed off in the autumn as we don't carry stock over anymore because of the risk of disease (rust etc).
There will be 10,000 Pelargoniun plugs arriving sometime next week so I am having my last day off today till july as we will be working flat out from tomorrow, 4,000 Cinerarias to prick out. :D

I sowed some Brussels,Cabbage,Lettuce and Leek seeds on March 3rd and I noticed this morning that they are all starting to come through the compost apart from the leeks so I am well pleased with them [IMG] [IMG]

I could live in there, do they let you have a corner for yourself Strongy so you can grow some of your exotics?.

Peter, at least we don't loose the baggage when it comes through.! :D
I have virtual control of what I grow an where so there is ALWAYS some room for my own exotics, they do get shunted around now and then. [IMG]

Strongy -I am very jealous of that last comment - about always having room for your own exotics.
