    Scilla sibirica is what it looks like

    Thanks Palustris, I wasn't sure about S sibirica, there's 100 or so different Scilla so I played safe :D

    They from pools of blue round the bare trees on one of the walks at Anglesey Abbey in March. Lovely flower.

    Another March Flowerer - albeit it with chewed leaves.

    Berginia - large fleshy green leaves growing from rhyzome type root. Grows fine in a dappled shady spot in my side garden and seems tolerant of both wet and dry - as the particular bed its growing in, has quite sharp drainage.
