Haha i still have one of the stickier rolls left and its now stuck itself together you cant peel any off now

 

I seem to remember having some metal clips for holding paper to a drawing board, guess that is old fashioned now then?

How about drawing pins?

 

It needs to be something totally flat so u can slide the ruler over and draw where ever



And drawing pins wouldn't go into the board

 

I had a plywood board and a T square,

You fixed the paper at the top edge of the board with two specially made springy stainless steel
clips.
They would work even on your board if you put the paper at the top.

Much more modern than masking tape, and that was 50 yrs ago.

 

But you're forgetting Pete, EVERYTHING has to change, even if it's not for the better!!!

 

But pete i wouldn't be able to reach and draw if my paper was attached to the top

Im only small and my big boobs would get in the way

It would be fine for bigger paper but no good for A3 which is the only size we were ever allowed to use at uni.

 

So get a smaller board

Oh no, suppose the boobs would obscure it
