You do have options with this one Pete, pixels/centimetres/inches/percent, like ive said I always use custom 900x900 it works on all forums I use and the picture is big enough to see.

Well thanks for the info Martin, it has helped:blue thumb: a lot.

Sorry to keep banging on about it, but I still cant see why they never give you a Kb option, bearing in mind most sites state, pics should be no bigger than........Kb:scratch:

That all looks a bit complicated to me, but thanks anyway.;)

Yes I take on board what you are saying about it, but they mostly say a maximum size permissible.
Up till now I've gone through the process of downsizing and image, then having to save it in order to find out how many Kb the resized image is, often it would turn out to be just slightly too big, so I'd then have to go through the process again.

It does to me Pete that's why I use 900x900 pixels it works on all forums :) give it a try:), for the record it works out @ 191KB, I look at forum largest picture size like a speed limit you don't have to reach it :).

Set settings to this and forget about it :blue thumb: it will resize the picture to the same size ever time and you will be able to post it :).

I think that @Fat Controller has increased the mb size that can be download to 5mb - but not sure. If so, then most photos will be able to be dragged and dropped without resizing.

It is currently set at 4mb, simply because we found that to be a bit of a 'sweet-spot' - going higher seemed to cause problems for some users (I presume due to uploads timing out), and with modern cameras and smartphones, going lower wasn't sensible.

I am of course happy to revisit this if it is needed.

As I have slow internet I find that a maximum of 1.4mb (I set the camera for it) manages OK without timing out.
