    I HATE Roses.
OH has insisted on the length of one side of the Patio be filled with 'em.
They fight back when I'm pruning & I am cut to shreds every year.

I accept they look good when they're out - but is it really worth the pain??

By the way, up north here there is no sign of the buds opening yet. Give me another Month.

    Mandarin

Not a huge fan of roses but this one just is gorgeous. Patio rose Mandarin. It started flowering back in April! I love the colour combination of the flowers - yellow in the centre moving out to pink like peaches.

      Hi Kate,

I like the form of the petals. It has a very pretty habit- slightly dahlia like.

Colour wise, its a bit day-glo and loud for me, but I love its growing habit.
      Lucky you. x

I need to thank you for your kind and patient advice over the past year. The roses look all the better for it.

            You are a star. x

                    What a beautiful colour Simbad!

And the leaves are so glossy and shiny. Is it disease resistant or do you work miracles?

Thanks Melinda:-) I have to admit I do use Roseclear on all my roses and feed them with rose food a couple of times during the growing season too.
