This is the stuff you want @Zigs

        Rose hip wine
Crush the rose hips, place in a fermentation bucket and pour the boiling water over them. When cool add the pectin enzyme and cover and leave for 24 hours. Add the sugar and stir well to dissolve. Add the orange and lemon juice, the yeast nutrient and the wine yeast.

I probably mentioned recently that my downstairs neighbours Jasmine, formally mine, had been left to grow through the fence panels and was suffocating my climbing roses. I managed to spend some time attending the roses a few days ago, but due to a medical condition I never finished the task.
Following a painful, restless night's sleep, I had a lie in. Eventually I saw the damage. Madam had been out with her B&Q hedge trimmer. Surffice to say. My Rosa Albertine is now a single stem.

                              Bookmarked thanks @wiseowl

I dont suppose you have the same or like details for a vivid yellow rose once called Pudsey Bear (for the TV fundraiser of many moons ago) subsequently named "Bedchild" I think...I lost this rose a few seasons back now and would dearly love to re acquire it.
