Your Sweet Honey is beautiful @pitter-patter. I wonder if anyone sells it in France.

    Thank you, @Busy-Lizzie.

Not much fragrance I’m afraid, though it did surprise me one afternoon when it smelled particularly good - so, I guess it depends on various conditions.

Lovely selection of pinks there @Mrs Hillard.

My new Chandos Beauty is absolutely beautiful. I was going to post a pic, using my phone but now can't find today's Roses thread at all. Apologies. Posting photos on this site drives me insane!

Thank you @lizzie27 I also have problems finding threads if they drift off the main page..
At least we're having a fine bit of weather now for a change.

Phyllis Bide, a fairly compact rambler. She’s still only a couple of feet tall but very pretty IMG_0617.jpeg

In our new garden, I have no idea what our roses are - except for the one we've put in.

              Here's two I photographed yesterday.

These are both over 7ft up, so I must prune them next year.

Beautiful roses @RowlandsCastle but I don't know their names unfortunately.

My newish Chandos Beauty is fabulous, so thanks to those posters recommended it. 20240622_212318.jpg

Your roses look smashing @Busy-Lizzie, especially your GdeF which I'm pleased to see matches mine. Some of my roses are now going over so I've fed them and hoping for lots of rain on Friday, we haven't had any, bar a brief shower or two since June 15th.

Thank you @lizzie27. There is another rose on the right of Ghislaine, left of the delphinium, she's Penelope.
My roses in Norfolk are nearly over for the moment.

Penelope, bit blurred, 2 weeks ago

@Busy-Lizzie, love that apricot colour. Unfortunately my Penelope seems to be dying - or at least half of it. I planted it about ten years ago, on a raised, quite clayey bank, fronted by sleepers and a wall at the back. I'm hoping the remaining half will keep going but don't hold out much hope. I did plant another unnamed apricot/peach rose in front of it which will be easier to maintain but I'm waiting for my landscaper to come and redo the sleepers, they've started to lean forward.

Had to rush out and pick this absolutely beautiful Chandos Beauty bloom before the heavy rain started last night. The fragrance is unbelievable

This morning, stopped in our tracks by the Pink Flower Carpet rose near our front door.
It's such a shame there's no scent. It's over ten years old and is reaching for the stars!
The last photo is tiny pink The Fairy rose. 20240705_112406.jpg 20240705_113212.jpg 20240705_113224.jpg 20240705_112406.jpg 20240705_113212.jpg 20240705_113224.jpg
