Hey Kaz your MRI will be normal . they look for Acoustic Neuromas on the hearing nerve which can cause your symptoms, but are very very rare .. as ya know i had the same as you for many years
so dont worry you will be fine .. did they give you ear protection while you were inside the machine ? .. Kaz its great that you still have a fantastic sense of humour ..
im proud of you,.. so keep up the good work .. we will get you right one day for sure
    your pal Micky

Kaz, you haven't got much to contribute eh? Remember this from a few weeks ago:

I do. I was at my wits end. You came up with the sound advice that may well have saved my sanity, and generally made my household a more peaceful and happy place.

I'm sorry to read that you're still unwell, and hope you find something that works for you soon. I'm sorry I know nothing about meniere's disease so I can't offer any useful words on the subject, but please don't think you've got nowt to contribute here.

Hiya Kaz .. ive not been here for some time and am sorry you are still not good  are your symptoms the same or any better from when we last spoke which was some time ago ? .. i know you are still struggling .. i was in the same position as you and my Meniers lasted for 2 and a half years ... during that time i did regular exercises every day to re train my brain .. if you like i could send you details of what i was doing .. it dident happen over night though Kaz as its a bit of a long drawn out process .. but i honestly belive these exercises speeded up my recovery .. i thought i would never recover but i did eventually .. Meniers can burn itself out over a period of time , but you may need some extra help .. i take it your MRI was normal ? .... i wonder if its BBPV you have .. ive given this some thought and it just may be .. clutching at straws here but well worth an investigation .. let me know how you are Kaz and NO going walk about OK ... you stay around with us here at Gardeners World .. thinking of you .. Micky

after getting No answers or progress on the nhs I paid to go private and got some answers and treatment, I have had a full Labrynthectomy ( full distruction of the but working ear) , thankfully this has removed all the symptoms of MD except for the tinitus, but that i can cope with, i am now completely deaf on my right side and i am happy to be so, thank you all for your support and while i was not on form :ThankYou:

I know you still have the tinitus to deal with but it must be a massive relief to be rid of the other awful symptoms of MD thank goodness that's over with now:yes:
