I'm glad it's given you a new lease of life Kaz and I'm sure losing the hearing in one ear is but a small price to pay now your suffering's over. Sometimes making a choice like you have is very difficult and I think I would have done the same in your shoes. You can enjoy life again now!

Still Here Zigs. Sorry, your cure did not cure me. I have an appointment with the Hospital on Thursday 13th March@ 1400 hours, so we will see what they can do, IF ANYTHING ..

Hi All. I went to the Hospital on Thursday 13 th March.
I received a hearing test which came up Inconclusive.,whatever the hell that means.
I was then introduced to a Specialist in the field of Tinnitus. I had a chat with him which lasted about 20 minutes .
The Specialist gave me a Brochure about Tinnitus,( Ways To Learn to Live Without It ).
The Specialist arranged for counselling on the best ways to live with Tinnitus.
So here we are ,there is no cure for Tinnitus ,there is not a magic tablet that can cure it.

The Damage to my Inner Ear has been caused with extreme noise due to working in the Plastics Industry for 34 years ,not wearing Adequate Ear Protection in the manufacturing of Plastic for the Car industry . The ear protection issued was Inadequate at the time,( the small soft ear plugs)


The Good News ,I was in the Ship Inn @ 15.30 hours..
