Had an idea to go see the new Star Wars movie today at 12:30pm that all others would be home at dinner. Wrong, all others are at the Star Wars movie. but got the tickets and got good seats.
Opened presents late, when we returned home. Lots of nice thing from husband. Best is my yellow face protection helmet and ear protectors that match my yellow ridding mower. will get pic later. Then some stuff for the house & kitchen. A book from Downton Abby, on the behind the scenes stuff. Some smell good bath stuff.
Dinner finished, and sipping wine now, and its 6PM.. Christmas almost over. On to the next holiday.

I got socks, undies, a metal cup and some pound shop chocs, as well as a few other bits. And I'm well pleased. I'm at a point where I have everything I want, so stuff I need (new socks and undies in particular) are very much appreciated.

But by far the best gift, and I know this is a cheesy cliche, is the sight of my kids buzzing at the fact that some magical fellow (secretly me)has made a load of things they really like appear in the morning, followed by dinner with most of my close family, including both my parents. Maybe one year my other sister and wife's siblings will join us, but until then, I'm happy with those that do, and the knowledge that those that don't join us are getting on fine.
