Mincemeat

The local Tesco Extra had literally hundreds of reduced Turkeys that had been reduced by 80% by the time we looked in on the way back home, but we don't eat them so no use to us. Heard of some people doing massive cooking/freezing sessions because they bought more than could fit in their freezer(s) if left whole.

They've expired now, but on Xmas Eve the instore vouchers on display next to the turkeys were for £5 off your turkey when you spent £40, so people could but 4 x £50 turkeys reduced to £10 each and then get another £5 off using one of those vouchers.

 

Scrungee for Chancellor! He'd have the economy sorted in no time.
