We have 2 of these in are back garden, by the house and fence. They both blew around the garden when it was windy but seem to have survived. We also have fleece covers for them for the frost and cold weather. To combat the wind weve placed 2' x 1' slabs on the bottom shelves of each and glued all the joints...

i had 2 of the walk in type. woke up 1 morning and thought the garden looked unusual but couldn't put my finger on it. It suddenly dawned on me that 1 of the greenhouses had disappeared!
I located it on the other side of an 8 foot beech hedge, it had just missed the audi parked on the drive!! and it had been anchored down with tent pegs, bricks and paving slabs!

It was a very unusual way to introduce yourself to the neighbours though....."hello my names Glen and i live over that hedge there.is the any chance i can have my greenhouse back from your garden please!" :D

Blimey! I bet it would've been quite a sight seeing it fly over the hedge too!
LOL, would've loved to have been a fly on the wall while you were explaining, all quite surreal I should think! I think my top job for the weekend will have to be finding a way to secure mine properly :D

I bought two similar ones from a garden centre (mesh reinforced, £50 each). They do need anchoring down and both have suffered from wind damage where the seams have pulled apart near the velcro points. I bought them because I have to raise my old greenhouse to stop it getting flooded in the winter. Its been there for around 25 years and it's only in recent years that I have had flooding. I think it would have been better to have put the money toward another permanent greenhouse, When I've raised the other greenhouse I shall have to take the plastic covering off and put some reinforcing triangles at those points.
