Missing Lan Card

Gave up, talk to computer shop tomorrow

 

F.C. --> VNC <----> VNC --> pamsdish ??

 

Even if the laptop in question has no connections to the internet, from what I have read and understood from pamsdish's first post, is that she has two laptops, so even if she had to load VNC/TeamViewer on the working one, you could then show her the process and she could replicate it on the non working one.
Far easier than trying to explain it in words and could save her a bundle at the computer shop.

 

No connection at all , can do anything else, but cannot connect to my broadband..., I am in no rush, as I obviously have another laptop, so will call in shop in next few months.

But as cannot find a model on it I need something a bit universal.will spend another 5 mins later going over it again.
