    Its in the pot as we speak along with carrot, potato. onion, leek and beef. The monster was really nice and clean inside and it did not struggle to much when I went to cut those legs off.:hehe:

    :lollol: If you get another and it puts up a struggle, A short sharp tap on the head should do the trick :)

    The monster tastied great...mind you, so did the carrots and the pots and leeks.

    Do you find they taste better after they've had a good frost?...Same with sprouts.

    Yes indeed, particularly parsnips always taste sweeter after a good roasting.

    The poor thing looks miserable by now, I had no heart to cut it it was so quirky. Anyway it is gone now, horses chomped it.
