It's known as The Mushroom Seat and it's built around an oak tree just up the road from The Mushroom Club, so an ideal hang out for Pixies, Druids, old hippies, etc. [IMG]

I've edited my post to also include 'etc.', as I feel free to be whatever I want to be these days.

P.S. I've eaten my sandwiches sitting in that shelter whilst out cycling before I was even a teenager. And Mrs Scrungee also used to cycle there as a child (before I met her!) with her sister taking sandwiches + fizzy pop as a day out. Mrs Scrungee's father used to go there with his brother on their bicycles many, many years ago.

This months 'titled' photo competition is looking interesting, there's certainly an assortment of ideas. Voting could prove rather difficult.

LindsayH Discussion is supposed to be in the separate thread from pics & votes. The quality of entries in the photo comps was one of the factors that influenced me to join this forum.

So apologies to everyone who was totally confused, but hopefully all straightened out now.... :spinning:

I'm still slightly confused. Does the above mean exactly what it says - either only one of the colours or all four of the colours, so nothing in between such as just two or three of the colours?

Hmm sorry Scrungee.. OK you can use 1 all or any combination of the colours.. It can be the "theme colour in your photo..So if you were photographing a white rose in a vase on a table your theme would then perhaps be red & white if all the other colours were not our chosen ones for the comp.. If a clump of snow drops in the grass then white would probably your theme..... Does that explain it better...

BTW I will include that in the start page of the comp too.. ;)

In July and August, folks can put scarecrows around Battle and they are judged in a competition in September. There are dozens all over the town. Spiderman is scaling the Police Station wall...:heehee:
