How wonderful to see some of our newer members joining in the spirit of things and posting pictures in the competition:

 

I agree "M" it's giving the competitions new life.

 

@wiseowl ....I've just seen that the Macro competition is now open. I read the instructions so now that the comp is split into sections, does this mean we can submit 3 photos per section equaling 12 photos per year?

 

Thanks @wiseowl ....it's all become clear although I should have said 9 photos seeing as there are only 3 sections!

 

For all those that are new to the photo competitions I would like to point out that your photograph quota doesn't have to be entered all at once. They can be spread over the allotted period of the competition.

 

That's really helpful Sheal , I had thought you had to post all 3 at the same time hence my first postings, but I've now learnt along the way

 

@Apple Blossom it gives us the chance to take photo's later in the month without everybody posting three at once in a last minute rush to enter them.

 

There are exceptions of course @shiney. Did you have a good holiday?
