    Thank you Glen and mztrouble
I will pass your good wishes on to Jack.
He is progressing well but having a bit of a bad
time with the side effects of the cocktail of medicines
he is having to take but the GP assures him it will
    settle down soon!!

I think that once he can potter about the in garden
he will feel much better. :thumb:

Gogs - so sorry to hear about your dad. Even after 6 weeks it is still early days. My dad had a bad stroke too but it was amazing how much he managed to improve with the right therapy and time. Everyone is different but nature can sometimes work wonders.

I send you and him my love and best wishes. Give it time.

So sorry to hear about your Dad Gogs - every good wish for a speedy recovery.
As CookieMonster says, six weeks is early days.

I keep telling Jack he must not go out to mow the lawn or dig the garden yet
it's only 9 days ago, but I do think a bit of gardening therapy will be good.

Sorry I've hi-jacked your Monty Don thread Glen. I know heart attacks and strokes
happen all the time but it's re-assuring to hear how other people cope when it strikes
    their family.
