When I said "nice", I meant musically. Sure, it's a painful message. As to why we go to war, it's human nature, I'm afraid. Part of that nature is greed, wanting what someone else has. Of course, your average 'joe' just gets on with day to day stuff, but for those in power, the opportunities to become corrupted by greed are too much for some. That's just my opinion, fwiw.

you guys must be as old as me


one of my hobies is music / hifi ... I have well over 2000 cd's (the last time I counted) and I have a really good hifi system ....

it's old, but the components were top class when launched .... my speakers are old B&W DM2 transmission speakers, I have a Pioneer SA 9800 amp, a Marantz CD63 MKII signature cd player, and even the cabling is top notch (my interconnects are as thick as a hosepipe) .... on the odd occasion when I do crank up the volume, my neighbour's neighbours phone the police

Is there anyone as old as me and strongy? Yikes! Now then, where did I put my 'young' head
I used to be right into Hi-Fi. I still have my last one, a Kenwood amp(I forget the model), a Denon cd player(I forget the model), Kef Concorde speakers and a Rega Planar3 turntable. Thing is, since my move 4 years ago, I no longer have the space for it. So, I now have a Marantz midi sized thingy coupled with Bose mini speakers, it's got a sub-woofer though:WINK1:

Edit : I used to have those B&W's *dim*

 

Same here Freddy, I had to dispose of my separates and Kef speakers due to space and bought a Sony midi system which has a usb socket (cheers F ).

We haven't A good tune right enough, but for me, there are much better ones out there,imo. When I get time, I'll post some more....
