Despite the weather and the setting up issues they have been worth the wait, I bet you're chuffed!

Hi Martin, yes, it's with the scope and the new camera. That's all I can see of Moon in one shot as the focal length of the Telescope divided by the focal length of the camera gives you that native magnification. It took me months to find the correct focal length between the camera and the telescope due to the inability to take images because of the cloudy weather. There's a Nebula filter and a 6.3 Reducer fitted between the scope and the camera and that helps greatly.

Thank you A its very good well worth the time and effort spent, shame your hampered with cloud I get lots of good clear nights here,

Before I installed the patio doors I had to go through five doors to get on the back garden I couldn't be bothered to go out with the scope now I only have one door, I will update the stargazing thread when I get out.

I will keep you to that, Martin:snorky: The "bother" of lugging around and setting up a scope was what was bugging me , and has loads of others, especially as the Scopes were getting bigger and bigger:wallbanging: That, in fact, was what made me get the Observatory so that every thing could stay in one place and stay set up.:coffee:

These pics are not "blown up", but what the camera actually sees through the Telescope due to combination of the Focal length of the Telescope and the Focal length of the Camera.:dunno::snorky: So I can't see the whole of the Moon all at once but have to take images of parts of the Moon.

Well, I've got the Moon Map that shows you the locations of the landing areas, Jiffy, and also where the Chinese Rovers should be, but you need a higher magnification than in the images and a really exact location to pick them up. Also the higher magnification plus the Earth's turbulent atmosphere means that you lose the resolution/clarity so with my scope I've haven't got much chance!! Now if I could link up to one of the Satellite Telescope...............:snorky:
