I must say, all of the photos are fantastic, strongy, and so lovely and varified. Not a boring one among them, so bring on the rest of the 1000 :D

Lovely pic of the Fishermans Wharf and the one of the "Anger Management"is brilliant :)

Aren't those redwoods something else? I brought some of the cones back with us, use them as Christmas decorations.

Hi strongy. You'll have to forgive me, but my geography is useless. I'm assuming that all these places you have shared with us are NOT in the same general location ? Cheers...freddy.

Robert, it seems you breifly caught a Stellars Jay in the pines like this one at Bryce Canyon.
Fantastic waterfalls, seems like you had a good trip too.

I went to Yellowstone in Sept 1988, vitually the whole place had been on fire all summer that year, vistors were only just being allowed back into the park due to early snowfall putting out most of the fires.
The planned overnight stop at the lodge at "old Faithfull" was not allowed so it was a let down.

See the arches are still there at Jackson, seem to remember some at a place called Afton.
    Must be a local pass-time, collecting antlers.:D

    Stella's Jay's, I remember them.

OH, I remember standing there waiting for the required time until the next eruption, freezing to death.:D
I thought it was still summer, Yellowstone was getting into winter, in mid September.

    More beautiful photos, strongy.

I wonder if the cops told the bison to 'walk the line'? :)

Not sure about the antler arch .... bit prickly looking to me .... but just love Old Faithful. :thumb:

Thanks for sharing your special moments. x
