    Good evening woo :)
If it were anywhere else, I might do (and probably do :heehee: ) but this is also by the back door step and with the wet winter we've had ... I've slipped on it once or thrice  ... so, while I support living things per se, I'm a little ... erm ... selfish by putting my own limbs first on this one :heehee: ;)

Certainly the birds like to help themselves to a bit of moss for their nests (I've put up a suet block feeder stuffed to the brim with Ozzy hair ... which, I've noticed is now their preferred nest building material  ) but soggy moss? :dunno:

I've found that patio cleaner doesn't work well but Jeyes Fluid or cheap bleach does the job well.

Word of advice - if you do go for one, get a Nilfisk; the Karcher ones are nowhere near as reliable as they should be, and the Nilfisk ones outperform the Karcher in my experience.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely bear that in mind! Always good to hear from people who've experienced the brands and their performance when you're shopping for something you have no experience of!

I got bitten by Karcher, twice - never again. When the second one failed, I Googled for spares and turned up a load of horror stories about split pumps and leaking motor oil all over the place which is exactly what happened to mine.

I've had the Nilfisk for five years now, and it is still performing as good as new (and I will admit that I haven't been exactly gentle with it - it gets some hard use with all the concrete I have, and regular use on the car)
