      One of my son's had a Grand Mal in the middle of the night (his first ever) and, naturally, I called an ambulance. He was admitted to hospital and a few days later, a bill landed on the mat charging for the ambulance! :th scifD36: He was 8 years old!!! :rrant:

      This charging for ambulances business is now more to with propping up NHS budgets. Do you know that hospitals can and do charge Council's if a hospital bed is occupied because the Council cannot find at home support for that person. It's just shuffling around public money - robbing Peter to pay Paul.

      Anyway, I'm out of all that now.
