mowers advice

    Yes that's a good point. You don't want to be using your main mower for them rough jobs.

    Thanks so much for your advice guys.
    I was actually given a mower today by a neighbour. It's not a pro model but a 18" push with a briggs and Stratton engine. So this will do for small lawns and as a backup. Although it's only been used for one season, I still serviced it today and it's great! and FREE!
    The end of the month I will be looking at the pro Honda range. Also the Etesia pro 46 has taken my eye. Mainly due to the fact that the whole range comes with a 2 year comercial warranty. Was quoted £599+vat - hopefully next year I will be financially in a better position to splash out on the Honda, grasshopperaggy mentioned.

    Free is the best. i am sure if you work hard get your name out there you will have a fleet of mowers. where about are you based. if you need any advice on setting up or promoting your business i am always willing to offer suggestions on how i have done it.

    If you want a rough lawn to practice on, my dogs prepared one just for that.
    Pesky little rascal paws at it, but then my digger marks make me a culprit also
