Well my GC friends despite the lack of summer warmth the garden hasn't done too bad.
    Disappointed with some annuals
A few changes planned for next year

Many thx for you nice comments folks

@Oldtyke most of the cannas, Brugmansias, ensetes get lifted on stored in the GH.
Palms get a makeshift shelter above them to keep them dryish

image.jpg It's been a funny old year since I last updated this thread.
The passing of my father in law in February was a massive shock and wasn't too fussed about sowing seeds or gardening but as the weeks passed I steadily got back into it. He wouldn't of wanted me to get sad about it. Many thx for the messages (you know who you are :grphg:)
Due to the late sowings and cold spring I'm a little behind. Most of the bedding is seed grown apart from the geraniums and gazanias.
Managed to get most things through the winter 4 ensetes bananas, both fuchsia bolivinas, 3 Brugmansias.
Extended the border along the fence and planted a chamaerops humilis Palm and trachycarpus princeps hybrids which wasn't liking being in a pot.
Hopefully we will get a decent summer and growth will commence :hapfeet:
