It was great over the past two evenings. Its been so warm that i have sat out until dark, sipping a glass of wine and watching the bats catching moths over the garden.
Will be buying two Buxus balls later :blue thumb:

Having a bit of a fiddle about today. The Rhodo doesnt look right where it is, so will move it into the border but in the pot. Ive bought a Taxus Bacata Fastigiata today. Its a bit small, couldnt afford a big one so will have to wait a few years to get big. Im going to put it in a pot, give it two years of TLC then plant out to its final position when about 5 feet high. At the moment, its just under 3 feet tall.

                Hiya Mr G.

I trust you won't take this the wrong way, but...it's neat and all that, but I preferred it how it was, with the curved borders. Obviously, it's just my personal taste:blue thumb:

                Mr G,
I have the reddy, orangey, yellowy helenium but I've fallen in love with your dark rusty, maroony one. Can you tell me its name please?
I can watch the bees on an Helenium for ages; find it very relaxing and trance inducing!

                Hiya Mr G.

Absolutely not. I think you've done an amazing amount of work, and produced a really nice space. All I was trying to say was that I preferred curved borders, as opposed to the straight ones you now have, that's all:blue thumb:

Me to al n. Once its been planted and matured and once there's a bit of height and structure, the straight lines will soften. And its so much easier mowing this lawn.
