Ok ok i would like to apologise to Mr Sun. Your here again today and you look even better than yesterday although we did have a heavy rain shower around 3pm yesterday ! Naughty naughty.

Actually did some gardening today. I said i was going to leave the Box but it was so nice and water had drained so quickly (it took one day which is amazing for my garden) since i dug out that trench and mixed in a load of rotted manure that i planted around the edges of the path. Still need to do to the fence but will need to move a hardy geranium which is in the way first so will wait until i see growth in that before moving it and finishing the Box.

Then did a bit of mulching, pruned the Roses and cut away all the Hellebore leaves to reveal all the flowers.
    Rewarding day.

"The sun has got his hat on
          Hip-hip-hip-hooray!
The sun has got his hat on,
          He's coming out today."

The Cynic might say the only reason the Sun has got his hat on is that it's going to rain!!:hate-shocked::heehee:

          Bought two Roses last night.

          Moody Blue and Silver Jubilee.

I will put them at the front ish part of the border bottom left. Thought about n the middle but with Roses, you have to be able to smell them up close so front it is.

Another good garden day. Borders not as wet as i thought but that will change by tomorrow. Moved a hardy Geranium and a Dogwood to make way for the Box which i have planted and now all in place. I also moved a Weigelia that wasn't in the right spot, dug up and re planted one of the tree's as i had planted it too deep and was covering the graft. Mulched the rest of the tree's, finished off pruning roses and pruned the tree peony.

Loads more to do but not for a few weeks i think.

                        Moved some plants today.

Earth cold, but not sodden. The lawns looking terrible. Needs a mow, fork, sharp sand treatment.
