Mr Heron has dined here!!

    Woke up this morning to the sound of the dog being sick on the stairs, (what as this to do with herons I hear you ask).

    Well in going down to get a cloth to clear up the mess I raised the roller blind at the kitchen window, and saw the back end of a heron flying off from the roof of the shed, I had startled it.
    I then went up stairs, and looking out of the bedroom window, noticed one of my biggest goldfish laying on the shed roof.
    As this was a good few minutes later I assumed the fish was dead, and carried on with what I was doing.
    Some minutes later I noticed the fish was in a different place on the roof, so I got out a pair of steps and had a look.
    The fish was still alive, I took it down and put it back in the pond and it swam off as if nothing had happened.
    Goldfish around here are pretty tough. :D

    Good job you spotted the sxd Pete! I reckon your dog was sick through the sight of the Heron with your fish!! :rolleyes: :D
