HoneyBee, I have bought 2 so in a years time I will probably have a sucker for you. Here you are strongy, I moved my fish tank into the dining room to expand my gym, and I took a fresh picture of clarence the clarius. He is about 16 years now. I have had him 10 years and he was a rescue job from a fish place that had him off a customer because he was too big. They had him in a tank about 18x18" and he has only really put on about another 1/3 if that. Stunted for life in his early years I put him back into the smaller tank as its a waste of my 1500 litres for one fish. His eyes are quite cloudy of late and he is getting tumours which come and go.
He's not doing bad for his age (people say that about me). Is he the walking type, probably too old for it now. As they are edible will you ..... no I don't think you will.
BM - you've bought 2!!!! So you succumbed to the outrageous p&p then???? We went out for a wander today, and look what "fell" into the trolley!!!!!! (and getting it back was an experience, well, for the little darlings in the back of the car, as we took 'is nibs' one and not my estate!!!!!
Like your rice paper plant Honey Bee, mines planted in the garden, it's got 3 new lwaves comming on it!
Where did you wander Hbee, that looks like a bargain find. From what I have read and seen, its form takes a while to come nice and alot of the growth can be at the tip. Once it suckers and you get different length shoots coming up, the shape will come good. I will have a read about pruning as you may be able to encourage it out more ?
