Mulberry Tree leaves in Nottingham

    Not sure but White Mulberry preferred for Silk worms as it grows more quickly in part, I think, because it has no fruit and thus all energy goes into growing?. I would think that leaf production can be accelerated once the plant is 3 or 4 years old by stooling it?

      as you can see this is today and the warmth yesterday made they sprout a little more than last week

        I also did locate a tree and you were quite right in that they had just started to develop leaves.
