Music - Great cover versions?

    My favourite cover versions have always been those where someone takes a song and gives it a whole new 'feel', producing something which is completely different and (in my opinion) a vast improvemnt on the original.

    My two particular favourites:

    Hardly an improvement on the original (which would be impossible), but certainly a different version:

      Really loved the Morrissey and Strangler covers , not heard them before , thanks Kyle and Trunkey................
      .............Now how about the antithesis to this post , covers that have killed / murdered the song. I propose Madge with American Pie :( She should have the top of her legs slapped for this atrocity :lolpoint: Some songs cannot be bettered.......
