My fave music at the moment, there are recordings Elbow did for the BBC with a full orchestra, beautiful music that's so under rated, I stayed up to listen to this one track one night and was hooked, bought the album within the week and listen to it a few times a day. I love my music anyway but I've never been so obsessed with an album.

Not sure if I'm doing this right but here goes.

Met this guy in 2001, the year after our friend died suddenly here aged 53. John, (our friend) turned us on to Walter Trout about 20 years ago and we have a plant called Walter here (a 6 foot Trout Begonia).

We were invited by Walter's wife to Walter's concert at The Stables in Wavendon (Milton Keynes) as Walter had agreed to dedicate a song to our John. Not only did he introduce us to the audience, he dedicated two songs to John ... there were many tears.

This is the latest of Walter's songs ... he's very much into what's happening and politically aware ... I think this song says what's going on at the moment ... hope you enjoy ....

This guy is so good. The messages in his songs never fail to move me. If you only ever buy one more CD in your life, make it a Walter Trout CD.

      On a lighter note:-

We all know the word 'Jobsworth' now but how many of you remember where it came from? :)

It came from a song written by Jeremy Taylor and featured regularly on "That's Life" and the word is now in the dictionary.

      This is a later performance.

A couple from one of the greatest makers of synchronised music-for those of us in their 30s.

Massive attack-my 2nd favourite band. ( I think you will like this Roders-perhaps not but worth a listen.

I can't see/hear your Scarborough Fair, Claire ...says it's been removed for violation of something or other ... but I absolutely ADORE that song and have part of my garden called Scarborough Fayre ... Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme ....

The Massive Attack are very interesting ... but I sure got roders wrong if he likes that .... :hehe:

I was at the Bath festival in 1970.... But nowadays, my favourite music is by French singer, Mylene Farmer.
