Been a big fan of The Alan Parsons Project for years Kathy. The first album of theirs I bought was Tales of Mystery and Imagination and it's still my favourite.

But just to prove I'm not completely stuck in the past, I've just bought "The Seldom Seen Kid" by Elbow. "One Day Like This" is definitely the outstanding track although the others are growers. However, listening to them on the M25 while driving from Kent to Herts to see a Moroccan fountain with a client, is probably not the best way to hear them as a lot of the music is quite reflective. I shall have another listen at home. Hope you like this.

Hi chums. For those of you that like your rock to be a little 'prog', then you may well like this. There are shades of Genesis, but a bit more 'punchy'. Unfortunately the link doesn't have ALL of the tune, but the links ARE there for Pts 2 & 3. So, herewith Frost from the Album Milliontown Pt1

    Enjoy :)

My first love is "old fashioned modern jazz" I love "standards" well played, though my jukebox is full of Motown (jazz doesn't sound right on a jukebox).

    Here's a few favourites.

Though I do like a few more contemporary performers, though this first one is now 20 years old.

YouTube - Gerald ALbright - Georgia on My Mind

I've several hundred YouTube clips I've downloaded and saved. Many are of performances where the original recording is no longer available.
