This is nice, but very sad. I think the video was well constructed, I can imagine many situations like this.

She should be no loss to him, she's got "bandy legs."
Sad how quickly she "forgot him" when she got the call.

Not sure if I've posted this before, but it's my very favourite jazz/vocal version of a standard.

And this tenor/piano version of the same song.

    Hi Doghouse,

That piece by John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman is lovely :thumb:. Do you have the name and number of the album? I'm interested in getting it :)

    Hi Shiney,

It's called "The Gentle Side of John Coltrane" recorded in 1961. I've had that album for I don't know how long. Currently £6.98 from Amazon.

"]The Gentle Side of John Coltrane: John Coltrane: Amazon.co.uk: Music

I've always liked Johnny Hartman who wasn't recognised by many until after his death. I think the two of them compliment each other.

There's quite a few Coltrane/Hartman recordings from this CD on YouTube

My One and Only Love is one of my favourite tunes.
I've mp3s of Chet Baker, JoeZawinul, Ray Brown & Milt Jackson, Wes Montgomery, Cassandra Wilson, Nancy Wilson, Frank Sinatra, Art Tatum and Ben Webster and a few others I can't remember just now. But then I've a lot of recordings.

Not a great fan of the Beatles but that was one of their best Rick.

Not sure if I put this up before or not, but I like it.
