Following on from the High Kings, from their creator's other fantastic group's newcomer of Celtic Woman singing Scarborough Fair ... a song I loved as a teenager ..

We have been out with friends today who have just moved here after 18 years owning and were having some laughs about flights.

We don't fly anymore because t'other half is claustophobic and I just don't like it ... but here are a couple of videos we just love ...the first is my favourite as I am a country gal at heart ...

      I'm late to this thread!!!

I like the Pet Shops Boys! More than anything else! We saw them at Glasto last year and it was great. My sons face was a picture - Mummy it's my favourite band playing my favourite song right in front of me. His face was a picture.... awww.

And I like a fair bit of indie stuff... shed seven, teenage fan club bluetones, I am Kloot, arcade fire, british sea power are fabulous! I loved Gene and I am looking forward to Martin Rossiter releasing his new stuff. I also like James Grant and Del Amitri in olden days.

Eclectic really. My hubby is the music hobby man in the house - a loft full of music kits, cds, and vinyl. And about 7 reel to reel players.... :rolleyespink: And a pink floyd collection beyond words....

I like The Killers too. And I was at that Mott the Hoople gig at the Apollo! I turned up to find that I had pretty much the worst seat in the house - back row, close to a rather whiffy Ladies and a standing area conveniently situated so that people can pour beer down your neck all evening. I was just beginning to wish I'd stayed at home watching the box, when Ian Hunter and co came on stage. Goodness knows what kind of pact Hunter has done with the devil, but he looks fantastic for a seventy-year-old, doesn't he? He is still a rock god, however unlikely that sounds. Had a great evening.
