A couple of years ago I went to a small venue (a converted barn) in a village near here. During the day it's a recording studio and some evenings it's a music venue with food and drink. I made the mistake of not checking that it was one of the 'unplugged' nights . I was totally deaf in one ear for three days afterwards :rolleyespink:

erm... Napalm Death, Venom, S.O.D to name but a few - most people won't class this as music, as the lyrics are more erm... grunts? lol Has to be as loud as possible too :D My older kids hate it that they like the same music :heehee:

Also like everything from Classical to Bluegrass (Hayseed Dixie are cool), I suppose playing guitar and recently Banjo opens you up to a large variety of music...

I have a huge cd collection and a vintage hifi system (old but very good even in todays standards) ... blues is my favourite genre of music, however....

As I am getting older, my music taste is changing .... lately, I am enjoying jazzy/folk type music

I also listen to music on spotify for several hrs a day whislt working on my pc

Here are 3 tracks I enjoy from cd's I have recently purchased

      ‪K.D. Lang sings Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah‬‏ - YouTube

and here is another track of a new cd in my collection ... I never knew William Shatner recorded music ....

Hello Dim and thanks for the K D Lang video - absolutely stunning. Have you got her CD of Anthems from Canadian composers with another great Leanord Cohen track - Bird on the Wire.
